To win the game, you need to be familiar with all the items of Teamfight Tactics. You should also be familiar with their combinations to use them in a more effective way. The professional players know the combinations, but a newbie has no information about cheat sheet in the game. Here, I am going to explain the items and their combinations to let you know their effects when combined together or use solely. In this game, you focus on items more than on heroes because the perfect selection of items can make your hero stronger or weaker. So, it is necessary for you to select accurate items.
Important Facts about Items in TFT
When you start fighting with other players, there is the round that is known as carousel round. In this round, you can get items. In this round, the players jump in the portal where the heroes have been placed. The players can select a particular hero to fight on his behalf. First, the lowest health hero is selected and then the higher and highest.
It is very important to know that you cannot move items in this game. You can either buy items or get them off of hero if you intend to sell the heroes. So, if you want your hero to avoid using a particular item, you cannot snatch it from him. Instead, you will shift that particular item from your main hero to a late-game hero. A late-game hero is a character you want to sell in the game on advanced levels.
How to Get TFT Items?
Mainly, you can get TFT items from two channels. The most commonly used way is to get them by Creep Waves. There are some gaps between the rounds of every fight. They are known as Creep waves. These waves drop some items for you. Collect them and assign to your heroes.
The second way is to refund the heroes i.e. Champions you have selected through Carousel. You will also refund the items the hero is equipped with.
Where to Find Collected Items?
Now, when you have a wide collection of TFT items, you will be wondering where to find them? Look at the bottom right of the screen. You will find some cubes. Tap these cubes to get your items. If you want to assign one item to a particular hero, tap the item and drag it towards that hero.

How to Combine Items More Effectively?
To combine items more effectively, you need to know their unique combinations as I have mentioned above. For example, if you are facing Champion of the Assassin class, you can create the Infinity Edge by combining two B. F. Swords. This combination can help in boosting the critical strike damage by 100%. So, you will drive the nail aright by making a perfect combination. I have given all the combinations of items above. You can use all of them. Make sure, you are using the right combination against the right hero.
Steps to Combine Items
- First, you need to tap and drag one item to a particular hero to assign him. Now, look for the second item you want to combine with the first one.
- Tap once you have selected and drag it too towards the said champion. Release the item over the first one. It makes a combined item and your champion will get the released energy by the combined item.
Think wisely before you make a combination. If you have created a combination, it cannot be reverted. So, be careful and consider the enemies and make combination according to their skills.
