Habby has presented a unique action game for the players who love to defeat monsters. A new player does not know how to play and how to control the archero. For a newbie, let me explain the guide on how to control archero and the game.
How to control Archero?
It is very simple to play. You need to use the virtual joystick to move archero to the left or the right. If you release the joystick your archero stops moving ahead. You can shoot the arrows if you stop moving. So, you need to use the joystick key effectively. When you want to shoot your enemies, release the joystick key quickly. You only need a good practice of pressing and releasing the joystick key to control the game.
Archero Chapter 1 Gameplay
When you start chapter one in Archero, you need to cross all the levels in it to move to the next chapter. Every chapter is known as “Adventure.” When you step in any adventure, you have to play various levels. You earn coins and EXP for killing your enemies. If you get sufficient coins and EXP, you will be upgraded to the next Chapter. In every level, you need to select a new ability of your archero. If you fail at that level, you have to restart that chapter from the very first level. So, you need to be very careful while moving through every level.
Archero Guide Chapter 1
An interesting fact regarding the game is that every time you restart the game, you will go through different maps and enemies. You have to select different abilities. So, every time you need to play carefully. Only the practice of releasing and using the virtual joystick is important and of course, your agile movement. So, restarting the game does not guarantee your success in the game. It may be a bit disheartening to restart the game.
Here, I am going to discuss a few tips and techniques you can use to win the game.
Be Quick in your Movements
You need to be very quick in your movements around. Once you release the joystick, your archero starts shooting arrows. It may be problematic when you are in open place and facing no enemies. Make sure you can dodge your enemies and avoid their attacks. It is a very simple key to survive in the game. When any level begins in Chapter 1, you will see an enemy coming closer to you. You need to dodge him. If there are a few enemies, you can easily dodge them. If there are many enemies, it becomes difficult for you to avoid them. So, sometimes, it becomes a tricky act, but you need to try to avoid them as much as possible. Try to escape in a corner of the map to avoid them and wait for your enemies there. If they approach you there, just run towards the other corner. When their shooting skills are over, you can shoot them to get coins and EXP skills.
In some maps, you will see the walls and other places where you can hide. So, you can use these walls and places as a shield.
While jumping to the next level in Chapter 1, you have to select a new ability to defend yourself from your enemies. You should be very careful while selecting an ability. You see a long list of abilities. Upgrading to a new chapter will add more abilities to the list. Every time, different abilities appear in the list. There may be offensive, defensive and many other abilities appearing before you.
The offensive abilities are as under:
Bouncy Wall: If your arrows hit a wall, they bounce back. So, while handling multiple enemies, it is a very helpful ability. None of your hits goes wasted.
Piercing Shot: Your arrows pierce the enemy and go towards the next enemy. It is also greatly helpful to shoot different enemies.
Ricochet: While hitting an enemy, your arrows will bounce back and hit different enemies.
Side Arrows: Besides the frontal arrows, there will be some additional side arrows to hit the enemies.
Diagonal Arrows: Besides the front shooting, some diagonal arrows hit the enemies.
Rear Arrows: You can deal with your enemies from the front and rear sides.
Multishot: With one arrow, there are multiple shots to hit enemies.
Some defensive abilities are as under:
Shield Guard: A shield guard is a defensive circle around you to protect you from enemy attack.
Invisibility Star: It makes you invisible before enemies for 2 seconds.
Wingman: It works in the same way as a Shield Guard, but a bit different. Instead of the shield, your minions protect you from the attack of enemies.
Fire/Ice/Poison Circle: In these abilities, a circle appears around you, but it does not protect you from enemy attacks. It only protects you from the closest approach of enemies.
Toxic Sword: It defends you from the enemy if he gets closer.
HP Boost: The HP level boosts by using this ability.
Attack Boost: Your attack strength boosts with this ability.
Attack Speed Boost: If you select this ability, your attacking speed incredibly increases.
Besides the above-discussed offensive and defensive abilities, there are some other abilities offered by an Angel or Devil. The Angel will provide you with a healing ability that is, of course, acceptable for you. But the devil offers you something very tempting in exchange for your HP. He may be offering you something like walking on water, pass through walls, some more arrows, etc. You need to reject every tempting offer by the devil. The only offer you can accept is extra life. It is greatly helpful for you particularly if you are in initial levels of any chapter.
Avoid Dangerous Combinations
There are some dangerous combinations of abilities you need to avoid using. For example, you have Bouncy Wall and you also get Side Arrows or Rear Arrows, etc. It will not be greatly helpful while dealing with multiple enemies. Bouncy Wall can be helpful if you are facing lone bosses or the enemies in a bulk. Otherwise, avoid using such offensive abilities.
Every time you win a level, you get coins and EXP. Don’t spend coins blindly on everything. Try to save them as much as you can. Coins are greatly helpful if you want to upgrade your abilities and want to purchase new ones. You can also use the coins to purchase “Talents.” An ability remains with you for a few moments, but the Talent is a permanent quality of any character.
There are three kinds of Talents in Chapter 1: common, rare and epic.
The common talents are easy to get while the epic is the most difficult to approach. Once you have purchased a talent, it is not a must to upgrade it. If the upgrade is available, you will get the option to upgrade it. If there appears a list of new Talents, it means you have to select a new one from the list.
The most popular Common Talents are as under:
Strength: Using this talent, you make your HP stronger.
Power: Your attacking power increasing by using this talent.
Recover: You recover easily when hit by the enemies.
The most popular Rare Talents are as under:
Iron Bulwark: Using this talent, your collision resilience increases.
Agile: Increases your movement and attacking speed.
Inspire: It increases more healing powers to your character when you upgrade to the next level.
The most popular Epic Talents are as under:
Enhance: If you get this talent, your equipment base effect increases to a greater extent.
Time Reward: Your time reward increases with it.
Glory: At the beginning of every level, you get an extra skill.
The coins are not only used to upgrade the abilities and Talents but also to upgrade the equipment of your archero. You get equipment in different chests and occasionally, the enemies drop it. To upgrade your equipment, you need EXP, coins and scrolls. The enemies also drop scrolls beside equipment. If you want to defeat the enemies, you need to upgrade Talents and your equipment.
Use the Gems Thoughtfully
Besides the coins and other rewards, you get Gems in the game here are there. The Gems are more precious as compared to the coins. You get gems when you level up in the game. You do not get them in an adventure. You can use them to buy the chests. You can also use them for your revival if you die.
However, Gems can be used only for one revival in an adventure. If you die for the second time, you need to restart that particular adventure. Besides, you can use them to get additional energy.
The best use of gems for revival is when you are close to ending an adventure. Use the Gems when you are going through the Boss Battles that are indeed the most difficult to handle. You need revival in them for sure.
Collect Rewards Wisely
Show wisdom while collecting rewards in Chapter 1. There are some Stage Rewards your archero gets while completing a stage. These rewards include Gems, Coins, 5 energy and many other things. If you look at the world menu, you will know at which time your stage rewards will appear on the screen. Don’t be hasty to get your rewards if your energy bar is full. Collect these rewards when your energy bar is empty. So, don’t collect rewards instantly because it can be a waste of resources when the energy bar is full.
Fuse/Upgrade Equipment Frequently
When you get time, you need to fuse or upgrade your equipment. Equipment, earned from the chests or enemies is very important in your progress. It includes two rings, minions, weapons and armours, etc. When you attack your enemies, the equipment helps you greatly.
Weapons: Weapons can be used to attack the enemies.
Armour: Armors enhance your HP.
Rings: You deal with the damages by using the rings. The rings also help you to attack the enemies.
Minions: They assist you in the enemies attacks.
Watch Ads to get Energy
The game comes with a simple mechanism, but complicated gameplay. It is full of challenging tasks where you waste your energy. Watching ads can revive your energy. There are around 4 ads you can watch in a day. Watching one Ad gives you 5 energy. So, you can get 20 energy without spending coins in a day. It is not a bad deal. Try to watch all four ads to get 20 energy.
